De Valk presents global launch of Yulia 34 at Boat Holland 2010
De Valk Sneek will have two major yachts on display at February’s Boat Holland exhibition in Leeuwarden. It will give a global boat show premier to the Yulia 34, a new classic touring yacht that is true to the tradition of the world-famous Riva. And De Valk Sneek will also present a refined new adaptation of the Guardian 50: The Guardian MKII. Both yachts will be showcased in the Saksen Hall of the WTC Expo at stand number 3046. The Yulia 34 was designed by Vripack Yachting International and built by the Joh. van der Meulen yard, which has over 125 years of experience in the construction of wooden yachts. With dimensions of 10.5 x 3.3 x 0.9 metres, the first Yulia was put on the market last year. The version presented at the exhibition is equipped with two Volvo engines of 260 hp IPS each, offering a top speed of at least 42 knots. De Valk Sneek is also presenting the Guardian 50 MKII. This fast composite epoxy motoryacht with a top speed of up to 30 knots is a worthy successor to the widely praised Guardian 50. It includes an adapted saloon, a second steering position with seating area, and an extra spacious flybridge. With the first Guardian 70 racer/cruiser due to be launched in mid 2010, Guardian motoryachts are available in 50, 65 and 72 feet. The exhibition runs from 12 to 17 February in the WTC Expo in Leeuwarden and is open on We hope to see you at the De Valk stand at Boat Holland 2010.
