Aantal pagina's: 3 KoopmansIn 1961 startte wedstrijdzeiler Dick Koopmans een ontwerpbureau voor boten. Het bedrijf, D. Koopmans Jachtontwerpers, werd in 2000 door zijn zoon overgenomen. Na een tijd lang motorboten getekend te hebben, begon Koopmans ook met het ontwerpen van zeilboten. Dit waren zowel toerboten als wedstrijdzeilers, allen geschikt voor lange tochten. Er zijn een twintigtal werven die schepen van de hand van Koopmans hebben gebouwd.
Koopmans bootmodellen
Koopmans is van alle markten thuis. Zo ontwerpt hij traditionele langkielers, kieljachten, sportieve kieljachten, zwaardjachten, V-spanten en zeewaardige motorjachten. Er zijn modellen ontworpen die de naam Koopmans dragen, zoals de Koopmans 34, Koopmans 46 en Koopmans 47. Andere door Koopmans ontworpen jachten dragen de naam van de bouwwerf.
